Hello again! So on our way to Yellowstone we had to go over the Big Horn Mountain range and as you can see from the picture the grade going down was crazy steep! Good thing my nose can smell as I said to Dave "we best pull off and let the brakes cool off a bit". When we got out they were smokin! The views along the way were fantastic though!
This was our campsite in Wapiti, just on the east side of the entrance to the park. It was called Mountain View Resort and it sure was! The sky was so incredibly clear that night we saw the milky way. We tried to take pictures but they just couldn't do it justice.
We found our next RV! LOL
Now we are inside the park but stopped for brunch (that's our way of saying breakfast that we eat at 12:30pm!). Pretty nice view of Yellowstone Lake!
We camped at Grant Village because it gave us a pretty central place to get around the park. Sorry for the HUGE photo dump now but the park is so amazing from the Grand Canyon area with the upper and lower falls to the geyser basins!
Yup, we got a little wet but as good boy scouts we were prepared with our rain coats! :)
I just love this one as the lady behind Dave is waving hello! Photo bomb!

Me taking a picture of Dave taking a picture of me!
We saw tons of Bison but didn't experience the road blockade like the last time we were here. That really small black dot on the next picture is a grizzly bear but we made sure to keep our distance!
So, as part of that being prepared part, I have enough food in this RV for a month! I keep thinking, we're going to the middle of nowhere so I have meals and meals planned (see fridge menu below). The picture to the side is us going to the Grant Village Restaurant! Oh well, at least I'm trying to cook. :) We've traveled to the south side of the park and now are at Grand Tetons National Park so we'll break up your photo overload for today. Given how beautiful it is here there will be lots more photos to come! Thanks for following us.
