Howdy from Deadwood, our special stop on the way to Devil's Tower! We took a fun bus tour thru the streets of Deadwood and up to Mt. Moriah cemetery. We saw the graves for "Wild Bill" Hickok and Martha Jane Burke aka "Calamity Jane". We also went to Saloon number 10 and saw a reenactment of the famous card game where "Wild Bill" was shot.
...then on to Devil's Tower. What a cool formation that is! We hiked the trail all the way around the base of it and saw some crazy climbers even going to the top. We gave it our best shot but figured hiking on the ground was much safer for us!
